Who I am
I am a qualified level 3 personal trainer, although five years ago was a different story!
At nearly 18 stone, I drank too much, ate too much and avoided movement wherever possible. I was never that sporty kid, always skipped PE in school and I became a mum at 16. I've had three beautiful sons, add that to college and uni later in life, full time work and volunteering, my life was and still is busy just like everyone elses. My mental health suffered and at 34 I knew something had to change.
I started small. I joined a gym. I increased my steps. I tracked my calories and learnt how nutrition and energy actually works without cutting out the foods I loved.
I built habits I could stick to and lost 3 stone in the first 9 months, and my mental health improved massively.
Over time those habits have become part of my daily life, at 39 I am stronger physically and mentally and can manage my emotions like I never have before.
I don't believe good health has to be boring and restricted. You don't have to starve!
Small consistent changes all add up to improve your life for good.
That's what I want to help others achieve.
